I came across some notes I put together while building the huppah for my and Leora’s wedding. I wanted this huppah to feel modern, as well as strike a nice visual balance for our interfaith wedding. It turned out really nice I think. And so I thought I’d polish up my notes and share them in event someone else might find them useful.
I should point out that while my wife is Jewish, I am not. And so I’m sure some of you will notice things about this huppah that aren’t traditional. To that, I say I’m sorry. But these notes should give you a good place to start if you’re interested in building a huppah of your own.
